September 1948 Established "Kuroda plating industry" in Shinmei-cho, Sabae City.
August 1973 Headquarters and head office factories are newly established at the current location.

January 1976 Separated the Shinmei Factory and established ”Kuroda Metal Chemical industry Co., Ltd.” (currently ”C & M Co., Ltd.”)
January 1983 Established the 3rd factory and introduced a large latest fully fully automatic plating machine.
July 1983 Introduced the first ion plating machine and entered the dry plating field.
January 1989 Company name changed to "EYETEC Co., Ltd."
December 1997

Added a new factory adjacent to the current factory. Expansion of the ion plating line with the introduction of large-scale sputtering equipment.
February 2000

Acquisition of ISO 9001 certification (Continued certification acquired thereafter)
December 2000 Established "Hong Kong EYETEC Co., Ltd." as a subsidiary.

March 2002 Received the "3rd Fukui Prefecture Management Quality Award / Governor's Award" (highest award).
August 2005 Comprehensive industry-academia collaboration agreement concluded with Fukui University, a national university corporation.
April 2007 Received the "3rd Design Excellent Company Award".

Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry selected company of "300 Active Manufacturing SMEs in 2007".
April 2013 Started electroplated diamond wire business.
October 2013 Received "the 2013 Good Design Award".
January 2015 Selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "Kansai Monodzukuri New Selection 2015".
October 2016 Ichiro Kuroda, chairman of the board, was appointed as the chairman of the Sabae Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
July 2017 Decreased capital from JPY 683.75 million to JPY 95 million.
December 2017 Selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as a “Regional Future Driving Company”.
April 2019 Expanded into fields such as sports and leisure (surface treatment business).
September 2019 Introduced the latest plastic material injection molding machine and expanded the development system for resin eyewear frames (eyewear business).
November 2020 Renewed the core system of the Surface Treatment Division.
